Crafted in Ghana and Made in England, the Kente Carpet Bag is produced from hand woven Kente cloth, lined with premium durable cotton with an internal patch pocket. The bag is finished with double handles, a woven Kente handle for comfort, and a smaller leather handle for ease of use. Each bag is finished with a black grosgrain trim, with black leather debossed labels with silver foil at front and side. And secured with a magnet.
We are working with female artisans in Accra, Ghana to hand weave kente cloth in unique designs, this luxury process uses their traditional loom crafts and skills to develop contemporary finishes. The colours we are using explore various african cultural references, indigo blue into red, gold and green.
